MotoGP Returns to Jerez for A Thrilling Race Weekend

Bagnaia Bags Jerez Victory, Binder Charges to Second

Miller Crashes Out, Bagnaia Extends Championship Lead

The Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto played host to another thrilling MotoGP race weekend, with Francesco Bagnaia emerging victorious after a dramatic and incident-filled Spanish Grand Prix.

The race was restarted after a first-lap crash involving multiple riders, including Jack Miller. Bagnaia took the lead on the restart and held on despite a late charge from Brad Binder. Binder eventually finished second, with Enea Bastianini completing the podium.

The victory was Bagnaia's third of the season, extending his championship lead to 10 points over reigning world champion Fabio Quartararo. Binder's podium finish moved him into third place in the standings, while Miller's crash dropped him to fourth.

The MotoGP paddock now moves on to Le Mans, France, for the next round of the championship. The French Grand Prix will take place on May 14-15.
